A key objective for the District is to provide timely and accurate pay to all employees. The District is interested in a firm or individual with in-depth understanding of payroll and CalPERS pension laws and regulations to evaluate the District’s payroll process and provide written recommendations to help the District implement best practices where possible, and for improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy where best practices may not be possible. Currently the District utilizes three
payroll cycles and has varying pay dates for each. A comprehensive study of the process
and written recommendations will help ensure this process is efficient, accurate, and
compliant.
