The City of El Monte (“City”) is requesting proposals from qualified certified public accountant firms to perform independent audit of financial statements and single audit for a minimum of three (3) fiscal years, beginning with the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, with the option for up to two (2) additional years. These audits are to be performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America (GAAS); Government Auditing Standards (GAS), also known as Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) issued by the Comptroller General of the United States; Title 2 U.S. CFR Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards; and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget’s (OMB) Compliance Supplement.

To be considered, four (4) hard copies of the proposal and an electronic pdf copy must be received by Bruce Foltz, Finance Director, located at El Monte City Hall – East, 11333 Valley Boulevard, El Monte, CA 91731 by 4:00 P.M. on May 31, 2022. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted.
