The City of Nevada City (the “City”) is requesting proposals from qualified independent Certified Public Accounting firms to audit the financial statements of the City for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2023, 2024 and 2025, with options for extensions for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2026 and 2027, in addition to performing other financial audits and agreed upon procedures with an option of preparing State Controller’s Reports as specified below. These audits are to be performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America, the standards set forth for financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States, and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget’s Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance).
