The Port of Hueneme, owned by the Oxnard Harbor District (OHD), is soliciting qualifications
from interested firms to provide the Port with professional services in support of port promotion,
branding, collateral development and web design projects for the Port of Hueneme, a vibrant
commercial shipping port in Southern California.
The Port’s goals and objectives in this RFP are guided by the need to:
• Develop a brand for the Port of Hueneme to be strategically applied to all marketing mediums
• Support, develop, and promote traditional and/or new Port industries within the Port
• Promote existing Port business and market the Port for growth
• Create an electronic distribution database with different audience “buckets” for strategic
distribution of Port news, announcements, and messages
• Create an electronic newsletter for distribution
• Enhance the Port’s image through mediums (electronic blasts and newsletters, facebook,
Twitter, etc), collateral (Port literature and ads) and web design (redevelopment of web site)
