The City of Compton solicits Requests for Proposals from interested parties to provide expertise and professional services for Fixed Assets Tagging. The City of Compton would like to develop a Fixed Asset Tagging System that tracks department ownership, location, and other criteria needed for reporting requirements. The Proposer must provide a fixed asset inventory system using asset tagging and barcoding, which conforms to the GASB34 statement including classification, asset tagging process, inventory policy, and provide useable management information. The City’s fixed assets consists of land, buildings, equipment, fleet, infrastructure and miscellaneous building improvements.
