Western Municipal Water District (the District) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide investment management services under a discretionary agreement for its approximately $189 million investment portfolio. The firm selected as Investment Manager is expected to use its judgment to invest and reinvest assets under its management subject to the District’s Investment Policy and direction from the District’s Chief Financial Officer. The selected Investment Manager will not have custody or possession of District funds or securities placed under its management.
In addition, the firm selected will also manage the District’s Retirement Medical Benefits Plan’s (the Plan or VEBA (Voluntary Employees Beneficiary Association) Trust Plan), investment portfolio.
