The Georgetown Divide Public Utility District (hereinafter referred to as “the District”) is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants for a three-year contract to audit its financial statements for the three years beginning with the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022. At the option of the District, the audit engagement may be extended for two, one year periods (fiscal years) by written amendment. These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the standards set forth for financial and compliance audits in the U.S. General
Accounting Office’s (GAO) Government Auditing Standards, the provisions of the Single Audit Act of 1984, as amended in 1996 and Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance), and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Pronouncements.
