The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District (District) seeks written proposals for a vehicle lease for two ambulances and seven fire engines. The District purchased and took delivery of two ambulances in November 2009. The District purchased and took delivery of three Type 1 fire engines and four Type 3 fire engines in Spring 2011 to replace existing fire engines. The District paid directly to the vendors $350,000 for the ambulances and $3,050,000 for the fire engines. The District plans to enter into a tax exempt municipal lease agreement to reimburse the District and spread the cost of the vehicles across the life of the vehicles. The District is Bank Qualified.
