The City of National City (the “City”), on behalf of itself, the Successor Agency to the Community Development Commission as the National City Redevelopment Agency (the “Successor Agency”), and the Community Development Commission – Housing Authority (“Housing Authority”), is seeking proposals (“Proposals”) from qualified firms (“Firms”) to provide a broad scope of objective, independent financial advisory services to the City, the Successor Agency, and the Housing Authority. These services may include, but are not limited to, developing strategies to finance the capital improvement program, advising the City regarding economic development programs and complex business/financial plans, managing debt, assisting with financings, and submitting continuing disclosure reports for new or existing debt issuances. Qualified firms will be registered as municipal advisors with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB).
