The City of Redwood City is seeking proposals from qualified certified public
accounting firms (Auditor) to conduct the annual independent audit of the City’s
financial statements for three (3) fiscal years beginning with the fiscal year ending
June 30, 2019, with an option to extend the contract for two (2) additional one (1)
year terms. These two optional engagement years will be done by separate
engagement letter.
Included in this Request for Proposals are separate financial audits of the Port of
Redwood City, Silicon Valley Clean Water Authority (SVCW), and South Bayside
Waste Management Authority (SBWMA). The City is a member of SVCW and
SBWMA and will be providing accounting and financial services for SBWMA as of July
1, 2019. Please note that there will be no audit required for SBWMA for June 30,
2019.
