West Valley Sanitation District of Santa Clara County (District) invites qualified firms of certified
public accountants, who are licensed to practice in the State of California, to submit proposals for
an independent audit of its financial statements for a three (3) year period beginning June 30,
2022 through June 30, 2024 with an option of three (3) one-year extensions thereafter, subject to
the mutual satisfaction of both parties. The purpose of the examination is to express an opinion
on the fairness of the District’s financial statements in conformity with Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles (GAAP). The audits are to be performed in accordance with Generally
Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) created by the Comptroller General of the United States.
