The City of St. Helena is seeking RFP’s for Forensic Accounting Services related to a $37.6 million Comprehensive Flood Control Project.

In general, the forensic accountant will perform a financial and compliance review of the Comprehensive Flood Control Project (Project) to determine whether: (a) revenues were expended appropriately and for expenses related to the Project; (b) financial records provide for reporting on the Flood Control Project in accordance with applicable generally accepted accounting principles, and grant agreements; (c) contracts were awarded properly and for work related to the Project; and (d) the City has complied with laws and regulations that may have a material effect upon the City’s financial statements and grant contracts and reporting requirements. Detailed work to be performed is outlined on page 5 of the RFP.
